Elliott, Marilee Sylvia 83, of Richfield died March 10, 2023 at her son's home in Irvine, CA. Marilee was born December 28, 1939, in Alton, IA, the daughter of Bernard and Emma Minten. She was raised in Alton, graduating from St. Mary's Academy in 1957. She married Robert Elliott on February 13, 1971 at Assumption Church in Richfield. The couple made their home in Richfield, where she worked in retail and as a house cleaner. She loved spending time with her husband, son, grandchildren, extended family, and their standard poodles. She was an avid bowler, loved riding in their classic cars and cheered for every aspect of Iowa. Survivors include her loving husband, Robert "Bob"; son, Steven (Limi), of Irvine, CA; grandchildren, Joshua and David; brother, Mick of Beckville, TX; sister-in-law, Mary Minten, of Alton, IA; extended family and special friend, Douglas Sloan. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Bernadine (Jim) Christoffel, Emily Schroeder, and Kathleen (Milo) Harnack; brother, Donald Minten; special friends Paul and Jonathan Sloan. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 3, at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Ave. S., Richfield, with visitation one hour prior to Mass.
