Korpi, Paul F. Sr. 66 of Minnetonka went to meet his Lord on March 14, 2023. He was born to Lucille and Marlyn Korpi on November 20, 1956. A graduate of Eisenhower High in 1975. Married Dawn L. Anderson on Jan 17, 1976 and moved to Finlayson, MN where they raised their three children. His love for volunteering was shown through his years on the Finlayson-Giese Lions Club as well as the 22 years on Finlayson Fire and Rescue where he retired as the fire chief. He enjoyed watching westerns, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling with family and friends. His greatest joy was watching his grandchildren grow and spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his father, Marlyn; sister, Cindy; brothers, Keith and Glen; nephews, Nick and Tommy; and brothers-in-law, Bob and Dick Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dawn; son, Paul (Samantha) Korpi; daughters, Marlo (Dave) Karp and Kristi (Christopher) Albrecht; beloved grandchildren, Meadow and Noah Karp, Cody, Lily and Violet Albrecht; mother, Lucille Korpi; sisters, Kathy (JoJo Schmieg) Korpi and Dawn Erikson; brother, Mike (Larry) Poltiske-Korpi; godchildren, Alysa Horsman and Shawn Kistner; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Shepherd of Hills Lutheran Church (500 Blake Rd S., Hopkins, MN 55343) on April 14, 2023 at 5 PM with visitation one hour prior.
