Amon, Gerald F. "Jerry" Age 78 of Minneapolis, joined the love of his life on March 12, 2023. Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Kristine "Gopy"; and parents, Emma & Frank. Survived by his children, Chad Amon and Nicole (Kevin) Kuhl; grandchildren, Max, Emma, Jibber, and Maverick; cousin, Larry (Deb); other relatives and friends. Jerry was a student at MCAD and became a professional artist. Early in his career, he was an art director at Target when it first launched. As a metal sculptor, Jerry sold his work in the Uptown Art Fair, the Park Point Art Fair, as well as commissioned work. His passion for art even carried on into retirement. Jerry and Gopy, used their creativity to make custom mittens and thousands of masks to donate to schools, correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and other people in need. His last gift was organ donation to the University of Minnesota for research. In the near future, Jerry's children are planning a Celebration of Life and final art show.
