Scott, Lois Darlene Bollman 91, passed to her heavenly home surrounded by family on Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was born in Dixon, IL to Herbert and Leila Bollman on November 24, 1931. She married Thomas Scott on September 2, 1960 in Rockford, IL where they made their home. They were blessed with two daughters, Susan Wicklund (Todd) of Blaine, MN and Bonnie Scott of Ft. Collins, CO. She is survived by husband, Thomas; daughters, Susan and Bonnie; sisters Betty Swalve and Marilyn Melvin of Mt. Morris, IL; and a brother, Herbert Bollman (Sunday) of Lanark, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Her six grandchildren are Angela, Christine, Josiah, Jeremiah, Samuel, and Seth; and two great grandchildren, Declan and Luna. In 1971, Thomas was transferred to Minneapolis by the Valspar Corporation. Lois loved the big city and all that it offered. She was involved in church activities working with children for many years in children's church. She later worked with senior citizens until she herself was a senior. She was a prayer warrior for her family and friends. Lois was a great cook and enjoyed entertaining in their home. She had an easy laugh, always put others first, loved generously, and will be greatly missed. If desired, memorials may be directed to New Hope Church or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. A private service will be held at a later date.
