Knutson, Arlene (Savela) age 87 of Covenant Living in Golden Valley, MN. After a year-long battle from lung cancer, Arlene passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023 with her loving husband of 61 years by her side. She will be deeply missed by her husband Dean, and many other family and friends. She loved to socialize with friends and relatives in person, by phone, and by sending greeting cards. Arlene retired after 40 years with Xcel Energy as a secretary and loved to read books in her spare time. Celebration of Life February 5, 2023 at the Cremation Society of MN in Edina 12-4 pm. Prayers and remembrance from 1-2 pm. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donors' choice or Breath of Hope, Wayzata.
