Hoelscher, Gene J. age 80, of Osseo, passed away 11/27/22 from Alzheimer's complications. Gene was the fourth of 18 children and was raised on a farm in Browerville, MN. He had a long career in banking. He particularly enjoyed new adventures with Carol and their grandkids. He was one of the biggest fans of his grandkids activities, such as sports, art & music. Gene loved taking walks and spending time outdoors. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Lucille; 4 brothers; and daughter-in-law, Wee-zee. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol; children, Sheila (Len) Sutherland, Brian (Ann), and Jeff; grandchildren, Lauren, Jack, Jordan, Lucy, Grace, and Kate; 13 siblings; and many other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, 12/5/22, at The Church of St. Gerard Majella, 9600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation at 9:30AM, prior to mass at church. Private interment.
