Troutman, Roger L. Age 93, of Bloomington, passed away on Nov. 16, 2022. He is survived by Joan, his loving wife of 48 yrs; children Jerry Troutman, June (Jim) Lezon and Jill Troutman; stepdaughter Sharon (Tom) Griffin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Scott and Elsie; brothers Rae and Wally; first wife Ingrid; and stepson Steven Axness. Roger served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a born salesman and worked at GM/Cadillac for over 30 years in Detroit, Minneapolis, and Fargo, ND. In his retirement years, Roger and Joan enjoyed traveling, great food and jazz music, and spending time with many dear friends. He was an avid tennis player into his 80s. He lived a full life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Roger always had a big smile, a kind word, and a quick wit. He found great joy in making others laugh. He lived his life to serve God and others. He was very active in his faith and church family at St. Stephen Lutheran. His legacy will be that he believed all people are created equal and treated everyone with dignity and respect. He will be so greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
