Wenz, Charles Frederick Age 93 of West St. Paul. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sept. 22, 2022. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; daughter, Catherine (Shakeel); son, Paul (Karen); grandchildren, Kaia & Kelsie; nieces, Lynne Eldridge and Lynette Cramen & their families; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Borgeson and Joyce Wenz. Preceded in death by parents, Frank & Elsie; brothers, Marvin and Raymond; and brother-in-law, John Borgeson. Charles graduated from Osseo High School in 1947 and the U of M in 1953 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He then served in the U.S. Army & enjoyed his tour of duty in Berlin. His career as a design engineer spanned many decades working for Remington Rand, Sperry, Sperry Univac, Univac, Unisys, and Lockheed Martin. In his spare time, he designed beautiful and functional spaces in his house and yard for his family. He enjoyed skiing, tennis, playing bridge, reading, traveling, photography, and listening to classical music. Charles was a loving and caring person, and a wonderful husband and father.
