Dickey, Margaret V. 92, passed away on September 22, 2022 in Storm Lake, IA. A memorial service will be held on September 27 at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Storm Lake. Burial will take place at a later date in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Margie was born on April 7, 1930 in New Ulm, MN to Rudolph (R.H.) and Marjorie Ranseen. She graduated from South High School in 1948 and the University of Minnesota in 1952, with a degree in Home Economics Education. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She married Rodney Dickey in 1953. Throughout their 58 years of marriage they lived in Fairmont, MN, Storm Lake, IA, Sioux Falls, SD, and Edina, MN. While in Edina, Margie was active in Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, P.E.O. Chapter E, Braemar Golf Course, and several other community organizations. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf and was a wonderful hostess. Margie is survived by her daughters Susan (Alan) Leach of Fort Worth, TX and Jane (Jeff) Kestel of Storm Lake, IA; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
