Simonson, Ardith "Ardie" (Zebro) 81, of Lakeville peacefully passed away on September 19, 2022. Ardie was born to the late Robert & Caroline (Johnson) Zebro. She had a happy childhood growing up on a dairy farm in Bruce, WI. After graduation from Bruce High School she moved to Minneapolis where she met and married Kermit Simonson. They had one daughter, Michelle. Ardie made their house a warm and beautiful home for both friends and family alike. She enjoyed working with her hands creating beautiful needlepoint and quilling designs. She enjoyed polka music, playing cards and, above all, being a grandma. Ardie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and gentleness to everyone she met. She greeted both loved ones and strangers alike, with a smile and a kind word. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Kermit; her daughter Michelle (Kevin) Schemery; grandchildren Alexandra and Carter Schemery; and her two sisters Carol Kramer and Roberta (Tony) Jakubiak. The family would also like to thank Grace Hospice and Home Care Solutions for their dedicated and compassionate care. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday September 27, 2022 at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr., Lakeville, with a visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
