Hessel, JoAnne G. Age 89, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022. Preceded in death by beloved husband Donald and granddaughter, Kathy Witkowski. Survived by daughters, Paula (Bob) Witkowski, Susan (Gerry) Green-bush, Linda (Mike) Bona; son, Michael (Cheryle) Hessel; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchil-dren. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 1 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Avenue NW, New Brighton, MN. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor's favorite charity.
