Jacobson, Beverly J. "Bev" Age 90, of Edina, formerly of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Care Suites in Edina on September 11, 2022. Survived by her children, Karla (Jeff) Lund of Eden Prairie, Keith (Lisa) Jacobson of Centerville, and Julia (Thomas) Bartsch of Bloomington; grandchildren, Nicole (Carter Woolen) Lund, Eric (Erin) Lund, Molly (Reid Nelson) Lund, Anna (Jessi) Jacobson, Eleanor (Kyle Tikovitsch) Bartsch, Reid (Halli) Jacobson, Alice (Chris) Moran, Allison Jacobson, and Logan Jacobson; and nine great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Kenneth and Mildred (Butler) Wiley; husband of 50 years, Robert L. Jacobson; son, Randall P. Jacobson; and granddaughters, Laura Lund and Katie Jacobson. Bev was born in Rugby, North Dakota on September 4th, 1932. As the daughter of a Methodist minister, she spent her childhood in several small towns in North Dakota. She graduated from Dickinson State Teachers College and taught school for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her four children, later going to work for John Deere at their Bloomington office for 27 years. Bev was active in several Methodist church congregations, and especially enjoyed singing alto in the choir. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and greatly enjoyed being around her family.
