Gustafson, Robert A. age 96 of Woodbury, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022. Preceded in death by wife of over 65 years, Janet; sons, Robin and Rodney; brother, Daniel; sister, Mary. Survived by grandson, Eric (Jessica) Gustafson; granddaughter, Sandra (Ian) Mills; 6 great- grandchildren, numerous friends and relatives. Robert was born Mpls and grew up in the Lake Minnetonka area. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota receiving his bachelors degree. He spent his career as a Budget Analyst for the State of Minnesota for over 20 years. He enjoyed duck hunting, following Gopher athletics and the Minnesota Vikings. Above all he was a loving father, grand- father and great-grandfather. He will be missed. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, September 30, Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W. 50th St, Edina.
