Holden, Jeanette M. age 87, Edina, died peace- fully and suddenly on July 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hank and Marie Jacobsen; husband, Jim; brothers, Ron and Russ and niece Gina. Survived by daughter, Anne Whitmore, brothers, Dick and Ross (JoAnn) Jacobsen and sister, Elaine (Jim) Licktieg and nieces and nephews. Jeanette lived a full and active life filled with adventure. A early highlight of her life was being a cheerleader for Hopkins Basketball team when they won the State Championships in 1952 and 1953. She worked for the 1st National Bank in Hopkins and then in Minneapolis. She finished her career at Bemis Corp. headquarters in downtown Minneapolis. She was a longtime member of the Woman's Club in Minneapolis. She and Jim loved to travel and they spent several winters in Hawaii and went to Disney World many times. They also made many trips out East, particularly New York City. Her legacy includes doing good things and being happy. She will be dearly missed.
