Barrett, Donna Mae age 86, died June 24, 2022 at Covenant Living of Golden Valley after an active and productive life. Donna was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born on June 30, 1935, on a farm near Amery, WI, where she graduated from high school. She received a degree from North Hennepin Community College and was employed there for 20 years. She met her husband on a blind date in 1954 and they married in St. Paul on December 15, 1956. She is survived by her husband, Roger; 2 sons, Randy (Jana) of Colorado, and Thomas of Bloomington; 3 grandsons, Kyle (Steph), Ben, and Graham. Her son Scott, parents Robert and Hazel Olson, brother Wayne and sister Marilyn preceded her in death. Donna and her husband were able to travel to many places after they retired. She loved to spend time with her family and was always available to help others by providing a helping hand. She was a woman of deep faith. Celebration of life service will be held Tues., June 28, at 11 am with a visitation 1 hour prior at Brunswick United Methodist Church, 6122 42nd Ave. N., Crystal.
