Locke, Adelle C. At the amazing age of 101, passed away in St. Louis Park on June 17th, 2022. Adelle was born in Sioux Falls and moved to Minneapolis as a young girl. She graduated from South High and met her husband Bertram while working at the local soda fountain. Adelle and Bert raised their three daughters in St. Louis Park, and moved to Wayzata to enjoy boating before retiring to Florida. She had an infectious greeting, a love of bright lipstick, and exuberance for her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was never without candy in her purse or a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughters Diane Murphy and Barbara Pfeifer (Lawrence), 9 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Adelle is preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and daughter Nancy. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
