Leo John Reuder
Reuder, Leo John Age 86, of Bloomington, MN, died peacefully at home on Jan. 14, 2022 from congestive heart failure. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo & Mary; son Leo Reuder and daughter Kathleen Foley; sisters Mary Iverson, Winnie McGuane and Marge Sutton. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jan; sons Tom (Connie) Reuder and John (Katie) Reuder; daughters Ann Thorud, Lisa (Tom Knier) Reuder, Jenny (Terry) Okonek; son-in-law Bill Foley; daughter-in-law Roxy Reuder; special family friends Shirley Jonas (Reynaldo Lyles) and their daughters; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and long-time friends. Leo was born in Minneapolis, graduated from De LaSalle High School in 1953 and the College of St. Thomas in 1957. He served in the United States Air Force, spending 3 of those years with Jan in Germany, then returned to Minnesota and raised their family in Bloomington. Leo worked at the First National Bank of Minneapolis and at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church during his retirement years. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to MN Braille & Talking Book Library, 388 S.E. 6th Ave, Faribault, MN 55021, or Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 30th 11a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Bloomington with a reception at the church and interment at Bloomington Cemetery to follow. Visitation from 10-11a.m. prior to Mass at the church.
