Fehr, Dr. Peter Eilert age 90, of Brooklyn Center, MN (formerly Robbinsdale, MN) went home to his Heavenly Father on May 8, 2022 after a short illness. Preceded in death by his infant son, Paul Fehr; parents, Eilert and Clara (Luithle) Fehr; sister Carol Peterson; sisters-in-law Elinor Fehr, Diana Fehr, and Mildred Adam; brothers-in-law William Rath and John Adam. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris A. Fehr; children Diana Wogensen, David Fehr, Douglas (Sharilyn) Fehr, and Doreen Fehr, all from the Twin Cities, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fehr of Big Sky, MT; grandchildren Lindsay (Matthew) McCoy, Jaime (Benjamin) Cook, Emily (Adam) Pettersen, Alexis Fehr, Peter D. Fehr, Shaelyse Fehr, and Jeddiah Fehr; ten great-grandchildren; siblings Marjorie (Harold) Lang, Jean Rath, Walter Fehr, Eric (Chris) Fehr, Robert Fehr; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Peter E. Fehr was born January 9,1932 on a farm in East Grand Forks, MN. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at age 8. He graduated from Northwest School of Agriculture, Crookston, MN in 1950; University of Minnesota (UMN), B.A., 1953; and UMN Medical School, M.D., 1957. Peter served as a medical missionary to Cameroon, West Africa from 1958 to 1968 through the North American Baptist (NAB) Conference. He then worked in the Twin Cities as an OB/GYN and later as a Perinatologist until 2005. He also served on the Clinical Faculty of the UMN Medical School. Peter volunteered with the NAB Conference and Seminary and the Baptist World Alliance for many years. He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Minneapolis, serving in a variety of positions.
