Marjorie pushed boundaries. She was employed with the former Campbell-Mithun Advertising for 35 years where she started as a secretary and became the firm's first female account executive. Among her notable accomplishments, she organized, operated and judged the first Milk Carton Boat Race as a Minneapolis Aquatennial event for the Milk Foundation. The 50th anniversary of these races was celebrated in 2021. In retirement, she was a volunteer with Unity Hospital and held leadership roles on the volunteer board. She was skilled in sewing, knitting, and crochet, leaving behind many cherished gifts for her family, both tangible and intangible. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 22nd at 2:00PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 9185 Lexington Ave NE, Circle Pines with visitation at 1:00PM.
