Fleischauer, Phyllis E. (78) passed away peacefully on April 23, 2022 after leading a full life helping others on their life's journey. She was preceded in death by her father, Roland and her mother, Martha, and survived by her brother, Merritt. Phyllis was a loving, fun and faithful friend. She lived life passionate about helping people to think and live positively and embrace the goodness in the world. She always loved music and theatre. Phyllis grew up in LeSueur, MN, received a BA degree at Morningside University and a Masters in Communications from the University of Denver. She took piano lessons and also played the autoharp. She sang in the Twin Cities Show Chorus of Sweet Adelines and cofounded and sang with The Noteables, a mixed voice choir in LeSueur. Phyllis lived in Boston for a short time and then returned to Minneapolis where she worked in audiovisual at Methodist Hospital, and then with UnitedHealthcare in Communications, and was a member of the Edina Chamber of Commerce. Realizing that her path in life was to help others, she founded IN-EX Mindfulness Communications. She also conducted seminars called The Mindscape Solution, and self-published the "The ABC's of Mindfulness Workbook". As a teacher, writer and coach, she inspired clients to have mindfulness in living, working and being. The Celebration of Life will be at 10:30m on Friday, May 20th at the Cremation Society Edina.
