Norcutt, Delwood Dennis born between Lucan and Walnut Grove MN, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 91. He had a fascinating & blessed life and was dedicated to his family, friends & community. Del was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years Maxene, daughter Holly, son-in-law Dave Vann, parents, Violet, George, step-Father Sandy, siblings Carolyle, Calvin, Betty, and Gene. Del is survived by his sister, Darlys (Tom), sister-in-law Elaine, children, Shelli Star, Dean Norcutt (Stacey) and Barb Vann along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Josh (Heidi) Brottlund, Boulder, Brinley; Betsy Scuteri (Kris), Grady, Matteo; Dina Carlson (Clay), Riley, Gage; Dori Norcutt, Danika, Olivia; Grant Vann (Alyssa), James, Zoe; Jake Vann (Greta); Kyle Kappes (Ann), Luca; Katelyn Worthley (Brandon), Wrenna, Colter and numerous nieces and nephews from the "Norcutt" family. Del loved living life. In school, his favorite subject was algebra and chemistry and he participated in wrestling, baseball, and football; once scoring 36 points in a single football game. In his early years he enjoyed cabin life with his siblings in Alexandria, MN and in retirement he and Maxene enjoyed the best of MN and AZ for 21 years. He loved fishing (especially for bullheads) along with fishing trips to Canada, Lake Michigan and Alaska. Dock fishing on Portage Lake yielded many a sunfish! Family trips to Mexico created years of great stories and laughter. He was an avid golfer and was proud of his hole-in-one. He was a super fan of all MN sports team, enjoying Vikings seasons tickets for many decades. But, the things he loved most in life were his wife and family. Our fond memories will always keep him close to our hearts. We would also like to thank the Park Nicollet Hospice team for their excellent care of Del and his family. The family will hold a private celebration of his life. Memorials preferred to Barb Vann with funds being redirected to the Dave Vann Foundation.
