Huettl, James Edward October 7, 1926 to April 28, 2022 of Edina. James passed away peacefully at the age of 95 surrounded by his family. James was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was thoughtful, caring, considerate, gracious, and most of all a godly man and example to all who knew him. James served our nation in the Army as a corporal and was honored with dignity and love. We will forever be grateful for his service to all his loved ones and to our country. James dedicated his working career of 37 years to the Durkee Atwood Company where he was Vice President. James is survived by his loving wife, Frances Huettl, children, MaryAnn Marlow (John), Karen Whalen (Alan), Lisa Baumgarten-Usem (Marc), and grandchildren, Jessica Marlow, Sarah Marlow, Mathew Marlow, Michael Marlow, Patrick Whalen, Elizabeth Whalen, RJ Baumgarten, Jasper Baumgarten, Joseph Baumgarten, Evan Usem, and Margot Usem. James was preceded by his son Jimmy Huettl Jr. and siblings Harriet Bach, and Larry Huettl. James will be missed greatly and we will hold him in our hearts. Please join us for a memorial service on Friday, May 27th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation with the family at 10:00 a.m. and a Luncheon to follow the funeral at 12:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 6820 St. Patrick's Lane, Edina, MN 55439.
