On Sunday, November 7th, we lost our sweet boy Bryce Martin Walt.  He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly just one month shy of his 30th birthday.  Bryce loved the Lord and his family.  He was especially proud of being an uncle.  We are heart-sick by his loss and have a hole in our lives that will always be empty.

Bryce was born in Minneapolis on December 8th, 1991.  He attended Mt. Hope-Redemption grade school.  Bryce went to high school at Minnehaha Academy where he played hockey and was all-conference in football and all-state in baseball.  He went on to play college baseball at Bethel University in St. Paul.

Bryce loved hockey. He started officiating when he was 13 years-old.  He was one of the original members of the D-6 Mite Referee Program.  Most recently Bryce has been working high school hockey in the Suburban Hockey Referees Association.

Bryce is preceded in death by grandparents Helen & Albert Carroll Lindholm and Marce & Hank Walt.  He is survived by his parents Cathy & Dan Walt, sisters Kjirsten (Paul) Anderson & Kelsey Walt, and nephew Leif and niece Ingrid.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for later this spring when Covid mandates allow.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in the eternal arms of Jesus, pal...free from the pain and suffering of this world.  We will see you again in glory!  Love you so much, Bryce...
