Rosen, Denise age 75, of Scottsdale, passed peacefully in her sleep on December 31st, 2021. Preceded in death by parents Max and Miriam, and daughter Raleigh Rosen. Denise was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Saint Louis Park at a young age with her parents. She graduated from Saint Louis Park High School in 1964 and attended Mankato State University. Denise and her husband purchased a home in Hopkins, where she raised her two children. Later she moved with her husband to Scottsdale, in search of adventure and warmer weather. Following in her father's footsteps she owned and operated a restaurant in Minneapolis. After selling the business she bought and remodeled homes in Minnetonka, where she discovered her true passion, in interior decorating. Denise's lively and sharp personality, warmth, enthusiasm for life, and her memorable personal style, that was truly her own, attracted many friends throughout her life. She was the first to celebrate any occasion with friends and family, always going out of her way to make you feel special. She was known for hosting and cooking many lively, Thanksgiving and Jewish holiday meals at her home. All were welcome. Denise's greatest enjoyment in life came from time spent with her family and friends. She cherished her friendships and never missed an opportunity to dress up and meet a friend out for lunch or dinner. She loved conversation and was an engaged listener who was truly interested in hearing about her friends lives. She was always there for her friends and family. She had a knack for coming up with exactly the right thing to say or do to comfort someone in need. An avid reader she was always asking others for book recommendations. She enjoyed traveling and felt fortunate to experience many vacations with family and friends. Her travels included antiquing through Russia, Caribbean Cruises with her young family, and Summers spent in Cambria, Ca. Her last few trips were to attend her son's wedding and meet her first grandchild. She was beyond thrilled about her granddaughter, which was the well deserved cherry on top of a wonderful life. Denise was survived by her loving husband Stanley Rosen; son Mitchell Rosen; sister Shelley; and granddaughter Chloe. A private ceremony was held in Scottsdale.
