Gillham, David Duane born Memorial Day 1934, died on January 10, 2022 of cancer. He was surrounded by adoring family on his journey home. Dave was a loving husband, dedicated father, loyal brother and true friend. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Barbara; his children Glenda (John) Swan, Thomas (Elizabeth) Gillham, Sandra (James) Gooley, Heidi (Bryan) Drumm; grandchildren Angela Hume, Laura Sosalla, Scott (Megan) Hume, Brenna and Marissa Gillham, Lauren (Benjamin) Brandt, Andrew and Mitchell Gooley, Alec (Lauren) Gooley, Luke, John, Matthew and Mark Drumm; great-grandchildren Ryan, Lucy, Zachary, Samuel, Henry, Lily; beloved siblings Gerald Gillham, Mary Lebak; cherished in-laws, nieces, nephews; and many dear friends. Preceded in death by parents Duane and Catherine Gillham; sister Joanne Hendrickson. Dave graduated from Minneapolis Central High School in 1952 and the University of Minnesota School of Business. He had a long career at Honeywell, retiring after 32 years. He served in the U.S. Army, was President of the Central Pioneer Luncheon Club, was appointed to the I-394 Citizen Advisory Committee, assisted in several political campaigns, founded & coached the Golden Valley girls' softball program, and was active in his Church.
