Ludington, Betty age 95, of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2022 in the company of her four children. Betty was born on April 4, 1926 in St. Paul, MN where she resided her entire life. Betty was a valued employee of 3M for many years.She was an active and contributing member of Beaver Lake Lutheran Church until her death. After WWII, she married Robert "Bob" Ludington and the two of them had a long, happy life together until Bob's death in 2007. Although small in stature, Betty was large in many ways. She was an accomplished artist, a talented musician (piano teacher), cook, avid gardener, animal lover, and golfer, but she was truly in her element and happiest when ballroom dancing with husband Bob. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert. She is survived by children Larry "Butch" Ludington, Terry Ludington (Judy), Sue Dockery (Ron), and Carol Ludington (David Newhall), 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. A special thanks to all of the staff at The Waters of Oakdale, MN for the care and compassion they showed Betty in her final days. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at a later date.
