Roeser, David George age 79 of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully on Jan. 4th, 2022 after a struggle with dementia and other health issues. David was born on Dec. 18th, 1942 in Springfield, MN. He was enlisted in the US Army for 9 years. In his career he was a Maintenance Mechanic with several companies and eventually retired with General Mills. He loved travel, foreign languages, history and he loved his cats. David is survived by his grandchildren, Justin Roeser, Jackie Roeser and Charlie Engel; daughter-in-law, Carrie Roeser-Engel (Jason); nieces, Mary (Keith) Veenstra, Juli (Eric) Wahlberg; nephew, Ken (Gwen) Lang and other special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; Katherine Brown; son, David Roeser; parents, George and Mary Roeser; sister, Kathleen Lang; brother, John Roeser. A graveside service will be held April 22 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, with a celebration of life reception to follow at a location to be determined.
