Vickie Neh Ndikum-Pinder passed away on December 9, 2021 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was born in Akum, outside the city of Bamenda in the northwest region of Cameroon to Emmerencia Abam (Queen Mother) and his Royal Highness Fon Ndikum I of Akum.

She completed her early studies in Cameroon, Nigeria and the Netherlands, and came to the United States in the 1970’s to complete her postgraduate education at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Minnesota.

Vickie spent nearly 40 years as a State Farm Insurance Agent, meeting the needs of individuals and families across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. She was passionate about both her professional and personal pursuits. Vickie was a beloved figure in her large extended family and a source of support and guidance for many in the Cameroonian community.

Vickie Ndikum-Pinder is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Mrs. Philomena Mambo and Mrs. Doris Tangwe, and by her brother Mr. George Fombalang Ndikum. She is survived by her husband, Abdner Anthony Pinder, her daughter, Jeannine Ngwe Befidi (Robert), her grandchildren, Isabelle Rosa Victorine, Layla Jeannine and Robert Anthony, and her sister, Mrs. Grace Tantoh, many half-siblings and hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members around the world. Our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend will be forever missed, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Visitation will take place at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Chapel, 2610 19th Ave NE in Minneapolis, MN on January 28, 2022 from 4-7 pm. The funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Paul, 239 Selby Ave, on January 29, 2022 at 10 am. Burial will follow immediately after at Calvary Cemetery, 753 Front Ave in St. Paul, MN.
