Nelson (nee Wheeler), Teresa "Terry" J. Of Shoreview, Minnesota passed away on December 23, 2021. Born December 11, 1947 in Minneapolis to Edwin and Elayne Wheeler, Terry graduated from Regina High School in 1965; and then earned her LPN degree in nursing. She held related positions in the healthcare business for 50 years, most recently as Health Unit Coordinator for Regions Hospital, and retired in 2019. One could always hear Terry's infectious laugh, no matter how she was feeling, because she was a spitfire and never let a conversation go by without bantering and ragging on people. Football and horses were her passions. Anyone who knew Terry was touched by her kindness, generosity and her love for family. Terry lived most of her life in the Twin Cities area, but for a brief stint in Texas with her then husband, John, whom she married in 1969 and 25 years later divorced. She is survived by her daughter Nichol (Craig) Nelson; grandchildren, Cole, Riis, Indy and Sully; her siblings Mikel Wheeler, Mary (Bryan) Beggin, Joe Wheeler, Colette (Kay) Sweeney, Cathy Wheeler and Lee (Dan) Shelstad; as well as many nieces and nephews. A gathering for family and friends will be held on January 22nd from 1-3 PM with a time of sharing at 2:00, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 900 Summit Ave. St. Paul. Please park in back.
