Sykora, Carla Sue age 61, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Matilda Tavis, in-laws, Lavern and Winifred Sykora, daughter Laura Sykora, and brother-in-laws Jim Sykora, Bud Keith, Mike Gosney and niece, Courtney. Survived by husband, Richard, daughters Amanda and Denise (Cameron Giebink), sisters Brenda Keith, Carol (Dave) Blomberg, sister-in-laws Martha and Nancy Sykora, Cathy (Charlie) Thooft, nephews, Dave (Kelly), Brian, Phill, Dan (Jessica), Matt (Lisa), Adam, Andrew (Andrea), Max, Peter, and Adam, nieces, Anna (Dean) and Katari, great nephews, Duke and Jackson, as well as countless loved ones. Funeral service Thursday November 4, at 10 am at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 4801 France Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation Wednesday November 3 from 4-7 pm at Washburn McReavy, 5000 West 50th St, Edina and 1 hour prior to the Church service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Resources for the Enrichment of African Lives (REAL), American Cancer Society, and Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake, Albert Lea.
