Wallace, Carol Alice (Regel) (Nov 11, 1933, to Oct 6, 2021) Died peacefully at home on Oct. 6, 2021. Born in Gary, Indiana to parents Walter and Myrtle Regel. She is survived by her sister Lois Oglesby (nephew Bruce, niece Lynn): her loving husband of 64 years, Glenn Wallace, two children: Christopher Wallace and Catherine Huerta (Oscar): 5 grandchildren, Gabriella Llewellyn (Chris), Micaela Niconchuk (Jon), Samuela Weaver (Paul), Esteban Huerta and Abraham Huerta: 3 great grandchildren, Danny Llewellyn, Nadia Niconchuk and Myla Weaver. Carol's life was marked by her love for family, friends, travel, cooking, camping, entertaining and a passion for having fun. She enjoyed dancing, meeting new people, and learning new things, especially in holistic medicine. Carol graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Physical Education. She was one of the three first ever female cheerleaders at the U of W in 1952. She cheered at the Rose Bowl the following year. Later in life she practiced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy for 34 years. Memorial service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, Edina, MN at 11:00 a.m. Nov 11, 2021. The service will be live streamed (TBA). Interment of ashes will occur at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Nov 18, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to donor's choice.
