Masterman, Clara Alice Born in Almena WI, Passed away peacefully on September 20th 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother Lisette Zuttel and father Gottfried Zuttel. Survived by her two children, Michael (Kathryn) Masterman and Kathleen (Darren) Rousar. Grandchildren Andrew (Lisa) Priest, Sarah Wittenberg, David Masterman, & Matthew Masterman. Great grand children, Milo Priest, Theo Priest and Max Wittenberg. We had to say goodbye to our hero today. You won't read about her in any newspapers or books, but to us, she defined what it means to be a hero. She raised two children on her own, while working nights as a nurse to support them. She took care of her mother too and when she became a grandmother, she was an integral part of all of her grandkids lives. She supported them by coming to every event, helping with homework, and taking them on all kinds of fun adventures. Even after she retired she was still the "nurse" at her apartment building, taking care of and helping everyone around her. Her kindness, compassion and smile were generously shared with every person she met. She taught us all what selfless love really means, by her words and her actions. She will forever be our hero and we will spend the remainder of our lives trying to pass on the gifts she gave us.
