Hendricks, Arthur W. On July 20, 2021, Jesus said, "Art it is time for you to come home!" Preceded in death by wife, Margaret; parents, Francis and Emma Hendricks; sister, Helen (Lawrence) Bock; brother-in-law, John Nelson; brothers, Robert, Harvey, Herbert (Gloria) and Donald Hendricks; in-laws, Gregory and Rosemary Kern; brother-in-law, John Kern. Survived by sons, Patrick of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Scott (Kim) of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Florence Nelson, brother, Bernard (Judy); sister, Martha Killian, sisters-in-law, Carol Hendricks and Darlene Hendricks; brother-in-law, Dennis (Bridget) Kern; sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Mike) Nyberg and Mary Kern and many nieces and nephews. Art was a graduate of the class of 1961 at Motley High School, he joined the Air Force after graduation. In 1962 he joined the Knights of Columbus and was a charter member of Faithful Shepherd Council #7604 in June of 1980. He served as Grand Knight, 1981-1983, then became the Financial Secretary to present. He served for four years as District Deputy, four years as State Program Chairman, two years as State Vocations Director and he is on the board of Directors for Minnesota Knights Foundation where he served as gambling consultant. Art joined the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus in 1985. He was a charter member of the Mother Teresa Assembly 2812 in 2003 and was the Comptroller for 10 years. In 2010 he joined the American Legion Post 594 in Eagan. Visitation will start at 8:30 AM on Friday, July 23 at the Church of St. John Neumann, 4030 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan, MN. The Knights of Columbus will say the Rosary for the repose of Art's soul at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM.
