Flanagan, Gerald Paul "Jerry" Born in Moose Lake, MN on July 8, 1939 and passed away peacefully on June 5, 2021. He attended the Church of St. Mark School in the Merriam Park neighborhood of St. Paul. Jerry was the youngest of 8 children 5 boys and 3 girls. He was a born into a boxing family with all 5 boys taking their turn with the gloves. He turned pro status at 19 and In the early years had a landscaping business with Claire Vogen, sold life insurance for a number of different companies and eventually struck out on his own. He loved golf, fishing, hunting with Patrick, horse racing and listening to music with his brother Art. He is survived by his sister Pat Gawlik of Maple Grove MN; sister-in-law Gen Flanagan of Hugo MN; and sons Patrick Flanagan of Hereford AZ, Dan Flanagan (Lysle) of Peoria AZ and daughter Connie (Doug) Lindman of Blaine MN. He also has survived by granddaughters Amanda (Cody) Krissberg of Sun City West AZ, Jessica Flanagan of Boulder CO and grandson Cody Lindman of St. Paul MN. He was preceded in death by his brothers Glen, Del, Frank, and Art, and sisters Grace Grove and Delamae Shuck. A Celebration of Jerry's life will be scheduled in MN at a later date.
