Carlson, Diane C. age 83 of Mpls./ Monticello peacefully took her mother's hand and went to her forever Home on May 30, 2021. Diane was born and raised in Minneapolis, graduating from North High School. She married Robert Carlson in June 1958. She has 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored very much. Diane loved children and was a special daycare provider for 40+ years. She cared for over 100 children and treated them as her own. Diane was very active in her church, Victory Lutheran and Faith Lilac Way. She taught Sunday school, was involved in many church committees and in Christian Clown Ministry. Diane was an animal lover and was never without a family pet. Survived by her husband of 63 years Robert (Bobby); children Christi (Joe), Chad (Michelle) Craig, Caryn and bonus child Kelly; grandchildren Nick (Lindsey), Cory (Michelle), Jessica (Ed), Jamie (Brenyn), Daniel (Rachel), Ethan, Erick; great-grandchildren John, Kyler, Annie, Everly, Beverlee, Sutton; godchildren, Dale, Kim, Blake, Ronda, Andrew, Keegan, Mikaela; brother Tom, brother and sisters-in-law, Arnie (Sheila), Patricia, Lorraine, Darlene (Ray); all of her nieces and nephews; special friend Gloria and childhood best friend Sandy; many friends; cousins and daycare children. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Agnes; sister Judie; father and mother-in-law Helmer and Eva; in-laws Marlys, Cliff, Rose, Curt, Ray and many other loved ones and pets. Special thanks to Lifesprk and Brighton Hospice and her church family at Faith Lilac Way. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 16th at Faith Lilac Way Church, 5530 42nd Ave. N., Robbinsdale MN 55422. Visitation 10AM, service 11AM and a picnic lunch to follow on the church lawn. Please dress comfortably for hot weather. Memorials preferred to Mn Alzheimer's Assoc., Faith Lilac Way Church or an Animal Shelter of your choice.
