Gillespie, Dennis Donald Dennis, at age 72 peacefully passed away in his home on May 2, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Eleanor Gilles pie. Denny is survived by his wife of 34 years, Helene; children, Heidi (Jason), Heather & step- daughter, Heidi; sister, Betty (Jon) and their children, Lauren (Matt) Mark (Rachel) & Erin. Born and raised in Minnesota, local 49er, Crane operator, loving husband and father. Who loved to fish, tell a good story, chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, avid Vikings fan who will be dearly missed. Celebration of life will be held May 8th at the home of Heidi & Jason Houser from 11-2pm, 3500 Ulysses St. NE, Minneapolis 55418. Celebration will be held outside.
