Shirley 'Pat' (Hammond) Campbell
Campbell (Hammond), Shirley "Pat" A loving woman of faith with a smile that welcomed & loved all, died April 30th, at age 96, surrounded in love. Pat was born in St. Cloud & graduated from St. Cloud Teacher's College. She met her beloved Bill at the USO & they shared 69 years of beautiful marriage. After teaching in the Wayzata Schools, Pat & Bill retired to Wisconsin and Arizona. Pat was an active member of her churches. She served as a Deacon, Stephen's Minister & in many choirs. Pat delighted in her roles as Wife, Mom, Mother-in-law, Grandma, Granny, Nana, Aunt & friend. She will be remembered by her joyful, bright & calm spirit. She is an inspiration for all who knew her. Even through her most difficult times, she displayed a Jesus-like character. She loved abundantly without hesitation. Predeceased by her husband Bill & son Rich Campbell, she is survived by daughter, Margie Campbell Charlebois (Jim) & daughter-in-law, Dee Dee Campbell Zappa (Steve); 6 grandchildren & 14 great-grand-children. Services will be held Saturday, May 8 at Kingdom Life Church. Wake at 11:00 & Homegoing Service at noon. It will also be live-streamed & recorded on the YouTube channel, "KLC Minneapolis."
