Ganseveld, Richard R. "Dick" age 82 of Inver Grove Heights formerly of Deerwood died on April 29, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on April 30, 1938 in Madison Township, Minnesota. Dick was a retired Police Officer, serving 33 years with the Minneapolis Police Department and 22 years with Crosby Police Department. He was an Avid outdoorsman and a dedicated family man. Dick's loving wife of 55 years, Joan preceded him death in 2015. He survived by his children: Lynn Walter, Jill Graff, Jennifer Seelhammer, David Ganseveld, and Julie (Rob) Murphy; grandchildren, Kirby (Emily), Andrew (Stacy), Cody (Brittany), Emma, Wayne III, Wyatt, Chaise, and Taylor (Adam); great grandchildren, Leo, Nora, Marnie, Brody, Isaac, Calvin, Henrik, Rowan, Finley, and Scarlett. Dick has many siblings, extended family, foster family and friends that both survive and precede him. Per Dick's wishes no services will be held. If desired memorials can be given to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
