Svalbe, Aldis age 50 of Hopkins, passed away April 22, 2020. The memorial service was postponed until May of this year due to Covid restrictions. Aldis was born on May 13, 1969 in Latvia. His first employer, BTG, brought him to Michigan, USA. He last worked for the US Bank corporation as a Business Analyst in Minnesota. He loved his colleagues, and he respected and valued their success. He was a passionate bridge teacher and player. He loved his Latvian church, and his strengths were within his faith and trust in God. Toward the end of 2018, Aldis learned that he had melanoma cancer, and complications with that took him away. He is missed by his two sons, wife, parents, sister, church congregation, colleagues and friends. We will celebrate the life of Aldis on May 15th at 1:00pm in the Latvian Ev. Luth. Church, 3152 17th Ave. S., Minneapolis.
