Page, Janet Marie Age 65, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2021 due to heart failure. She was born September 13, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN. Janet attended school in Orono. In 1981, she married Rick Pettit and they brought their daughter Jennifer into the world in April of 1984. Janet married John Page in 1989, Living in Mound, MN. John preceded her in death in 2009. For many years Janet worked in different sales positions, including her father's business, and Insultation Supplies, the company she and her husband John purchased in 1986. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere and her customers loved working with her. Janet and John enjoyed travel and often went on various trips, both for business and fun. One of her favorite places was Victoria, BC where they made numerous trips in the fall to salmon fish. In 1998, Janet and John purchased their cabin on Lake Miltona near Alexandria, MN. She loved to go to the cabin on weekends and spent her most happy times there with John and family. Her grandchildren, Eli and Jazzmyn, brought so much joy to her life. Janet will be remembered as a loving wife and dedicated mother and grandmother. Janet is survived by her daughter: Jennifer Pettit and fiancé Wazir Persaud; grandchildren: Eli and Jazzmyn; brothers: Mike (wife Janet) Young of Duluth, MN and John (wife Lynn) Young of Orono, MN; many nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband John, Janet was preceded in death by her parents William Young and Lorraine Gorman. Celebration of Life Saturday, April 17, 2021 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
