Johnson, Delores Ann age 85, of Buffalo and formerly of Minnetonka, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Parkview Care Center. She was born in Thief River Falls on February 20, 1935 the daughter of Walfred and Verna (Trochmann) Carlson. On September 28th, 1968, Delores A. Carlson and Harvey W. Johnson were joined in holy marriage in Thief River Falls. God blessed their marriage with two daughters. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. She enjoyed her church family and being a part of the Prisicilla Circle. Delores was devoted to her family! She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, collecting stamps, sending and collecting cards, and music especially hymns. Survived by loving daughters: Lynda (David) Resch and Sandra (Peter) Churness; grandchildren: Hannah, Megan, and Caleb Churness; sisters-in-law: Ivadell Carlson and Faye Carlson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by husband Harvey Walton Johnson on August 23, 2013, her parents, brothers: Leonard and Kenneth Carlson. Funeral Services for Delores A. Johnson will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 3 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Pastor Peter Churness (son-in-law) will officiate. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
