Malikowski, William G. Bill, age 60, died January 7th, at home in Wayzata after a valiant battle with cancer. Bill was born in Saint Cloud, was a graduate of Buffalo High School and Anoka Ramsey Technical College. As a field technician for Elekta, Bill would travel the midwest repairing and installing radiation equipment. He loved working with his fellow technicians, Tyson, Ben, Christian and Murdo. Bill was many things. A Volunteer Wayzata Fireman, a motor-head, Mickey Mouse at the Annual Kiddie Parade, but mostly a loving Dad and husband. What started with a pick up line "Hey little girl, would you like some candy?", would end with marriage to Joan that was still going strong after 31 years. He could not have been any prouder of his children Henry, Walter and Maggie. As much as we are saddened by our loss, we are grateful Bill is no longer enduring what comes with a cancer diagnosis. Our hope is that Bill is riding in his yellow Ford Galaxy with the Allman Brothers pouring out of the radio and his dog Bear by his side, knowing he made a difference in the world he left behind. Big Daddy we are going to miss you. Thank you to all those who were there for us through these hard days, especially, Louie and Anne Marie who were fearless and tireless and who we can not thank enough.
