Born on August 28, 1952 in Minneapolis and passed away on November 20, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and May Casperson. Julie is survived by her brothers, Steven (Lori) and Gary (Charlotte) Casperson; beloved cat, Romeo; nieces and nephews, Steve Jr. (Sarah), Tim, Tina, Jonathan (Anne), Claire, and Timothy; great-nieces and nephews, Sadie, Brooks, Mackenzie, Paige, Hannah, Hailey, Leah, Taylor, and Sara.
Julie attended Richfield Schools and Minnehaha Academy. During childhood, she enjoyed speed skating at Lake Harriet and later spent time volunteering with Value Village. Julie shared a special bond with her grandmother Julia Henderson and there is comfort in knowing they are reunited together again.
Visitation will be held from 1:30pm-2pm followed by graveside service on Friday, November 27 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julie’s name to Animal Humane Society, Golden Valley.
