Berkholtz, Nicholas E., PE died October 14, 2020 at the age of 92. Born April 19, 1928 in Majori, Latvia Nicholas is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elga, daughters Karin and Ingrid and grandson Ric, as well as sister-in-law Josephine, and dear nieces and nephews and extended family across the United States, in Australia and in Europe. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordian and Irmgard Berkholtz, brother Gordon, and son Matiss. Nicholas was an active member of the Latvian community in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, and a nationally recognized professional engineer enjoying a long career with Honeywell and Alliant Techsystems.
