Norma Jean Greene

Greene, Norma Jean Age 81, of Spring Park, passed away October 12th, 2020 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents Christ and Rose Kronen as well as beloved son Mark. Norma worked in the telecommunication industry for over 35 years, retiring in 1998. She was very active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grand-children. During Norma's life, while raising her family, she taught little tikes to ski with Blizzard Ski School as well as being an active member of the Upper Minnetonka Yacht Club where she was a leader in their many social activities and judging staff. Her capacity for love was immense. She tirelessly served many people throughout her entire adult life who needed extra support during difficult times, regardless of her own challenges along the way. She never missed a sporting event for a grandchild or a baby gift for a dear friend's grandchild. Norma was an active member at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and continued her love of all things flowering, by taking a job at local flower venues during the spring and early summer months during the last few years she was able. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survived by loving husband Alan; son, Gary (Kizzy) Christensen; daughter, Kathy (Jeff) Traxler; step-sons, Jeff and Chris Greene; grandchildren, Jesse (Erin) Cote, Abbi and Matt Christensen, Erin, Sam (Allie), Megan, and Mary Traxler, Alex Beno, Alanna Greene; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Annie, Harper Cote and Charlie Greene; brother, Ron Kronen; sister, Arlene Olin. Due to COVID restrictions, her service will be postponed in an effort to explore options for including as many of her family and friends as possible.
