Purcell, Mary Jean age 92 died 10/9/20 in Minnetonka, MN. Born to John J. & Rosemary Rouse on 10/26/27 in Iowa City, IA. Adopted in 1932 by William E. Noble and his wife Emma in 1932 of Albert Lea, MN. Graduate of St. Paul Central H.S. 1945. Married 12/27/47 to Larry Purcell. Mary and Larry raised 8 children in the Bloomington/Minneapolis area. Upon retirement they moved to Wright, MN where she was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell, MN. Mary moved back to Minneapolis upon the death of Larry in 2006. She was a current member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. Mary was proficient in knitting, crocheting, quilting and an avid reader. Preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 granddaughter Caitlyn Ann. Mary is survived by six daughters: Susan, Margaret (Mary), Sally (Marvin), Mary, Shirl and Nancy. Survived by sons: Daniel (Dianne) and Larry John (Dolly). 14 grandchildren: Nathan, Krista, Brett, Sara, Stephen, James, Gretchen, Kelly, Charles, Hunter, Gunther, Rosemary, Gregory and Grace. 13 great grandchildren with one due in December. Special thanks to her physician, Dr. Amy Morrow for her kind and gentle manner. Due to the CoVid pandemic, a family graveside funeral will be held next year.
