Dettman, Daniel F. Age 68, of Minnetonka. Loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, died unexpectedly on September 21. Dan loved the simpler things in life - spending time with his family, the cabin, boating on Gull Lake and filming sports and hanging with the crew. Services will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 241 5th Ave N, Hopkins, MN. Seating will begin at 10:45 a.m., with an opportunity to say goodbye to Dan on the way to your seats. Outdoor seating to view the service via livestream will be available onsite. The service will also be live streamed via Zion Lutheran Church of Hopkin's YouTube Channel, accessible on the website under Quick Links. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Beatrice Dettman and brother William. Survived by his loving wife Kathrine, children Nikolena (Nathan) Beadle, Christina (Michael) Trotter and Michael (Samantha Young) Dettman, five grandchildren: Jack, Sofie, Ella, Maxwell and Camden, extended family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations which will be used to purchase a remembrance in honor of Dan. John 15:12: My command is this: "Love each other as I have loved you."
