Steffenson, D. Elaine age 91 of Plymouth, passed away on September 17, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; parents, Clarence and Emma Bjorklund and sister, Pearl Abbott. She is survived by her son, Mark (Darcy Hitesman) Steffenson; daughter, Nancy (Jon) Hedin; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Kathleen, Elizabeth and Laurel; 1 great grandchild, Violeta; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Elaine graduated from Waseca High School, Gustaphus Adolphus College with a BA degree and the University of MN with a MA degree. She taught Mathematics at Alden, Wayzata, and 33 years at Robbinsdale for a total of 35 years. Member of Elim Lutheran Church since 1953. Elaine served in the Altar Guild of Elim for many years. Elaine was a member of the Robbinsdale Assoc. of Retired Educators. Memorials preferred to Elim Lutheran Church or donor's choice. Funeral service will be private.
