They celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2013. Lois was an equal partner: raising their children, keeping her home, and later supporting her husband in his business endeavors. She and Harold enjoyed spending time at their cabin "up north," traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe in retirement, and spending time with their family. Lois was an avid reader and lover of books, especially poetry. She used to say, "A home without books has no soul." She enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, and "THE BOSS"! She also loved all things British: literature, history, and television. Lois spent the past four years of her life at The Homestead at Anoka Senior Living Community where she made many new friends and enjoyed attending social activities and chapel service. Lois will be remembered for her undying devotion to her husband and family, her extraordinary generosity, her kindness, her ability to always keep moving forward, and for living with grace. A memorial service and celebration of her life is planned for November, 2020 with details forthcoming, and in accordance with public health guidelines. Memorials will be donated to Lois' preferred charities.
