Olson, William D. "Bill" 44 of Minneapolis passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2020. Waiting to greet him in heaven were his mother, Bonnie Olson; grandparents, William H Olson, Richard and Winnifred Benjamin; uncle, Dean Benjamin; aunts, Linda Benjamin and Cathy Olson. Survived by his father, William G. Olson; sisters, Kathleen Oehlerking (Lonny), and Colleen Olson; nieces, MacKenzie and Maggie Oehlerking; uncles, Lanny Olson, Neal Benjamin (Kathy), and Barry Benjamin; aunt, Becky Hofer (Darwin); many cousins and many many many friends. Bill was born August 6, 1975 in Minneapolis. He started acting and doing TV commercials and print ads at the early age of 5. Some of his favorites were Dinty Moore, Minnesota Twins, and Anderson Window. Bill attended the Perpich Center for the Arts High School in Golden Valley where he made many lifelong friends. If you were a friend of Bill's, you were friends for life. Some of his friends described Bill as "nicest person you would ever want to know", "Kind, beautiful, and gentle soul", "had a heart of gold", "sweetest man"," Once you heard him laugh, you could never forget it". We are so thankful for the time we had with Bill. He is forever in our hearts and soul. We will miss his smile, his loud laugh, and his love for everyone. In honor of Bill, we are asking everyone to wear bright colors. All memorials will be collected and forwarded to the Children's Theater Company Minneapolis. Celebration of life service will be 11 AM August 11, 2020 at Hosanna Lutheran Church Chapel, 9600 163rd St. W,. Lakeville, MN. Door # 5. with visitation at 10:00 am, private burial to follow.
